StreamForGood Ltd generates revenue through music streaming activity on third-party platforms such as Spotify and other licensed streaming services.
Revenue is calculated and received based on aggregated streaming performance across playlists and time periods, in accordance with third-party reporting schedules and payout structures.
Donations are made by StreamForGood Ltd based on total net revenue generated by the platform, rather than individual user streams or specific user activity.
Revenue is allocated internally according to predefined models (such as Partnered Charities, Unpartnered Charities, Charity of the Month, and The Hub), before donations are distributed to eligible charities.
Charities do not receive direct payments from streaming platforms. All funds are processed and distributed by StreamForGood Ltd in accordance with platform reporting and reconciliation timelines.
Due to third-party reporting delays from streaming platforms, there is often a delay between when streams occur and when revenue is confirmed and received.
It typically takes 3 to 4 months for streaming platforms to report earnings. In some cases, particularly where stream volumes are low, no revenue may be reported.
As a result, donation distributions may take up to 6 months from the time revenue is generated.
While StreamForGood Ltd is committed to allocating a portion of revenue to charitable causes, we do not guarantee specific donation amounts, revenue levels, or financial outcomes.
Revenue is influenced by external factors including streaming platform policies, listener behaviour, and market conditions beyond our control.
StreamForGood Ltd is committed to operating with transparency in how funds are generated, allocated, and distributed.
We aim to clearly communicate how revenue flows through the platform and how charitable contributions are calculated and delivered.
